At White River Municipal Water District, our Mission is to provide the highest quality drinking water and customer service for our recreational, retail, and wholesale customers. Sustainable economical rates will be used to operate and maintain the water system infrastructure, while maintaining a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation.

All permits listed above available at the White River Municipal Water District Administration Office, during business hours of Monday - Friday 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm. If you have any questions please contact us at 806-263-4240.

White River Marina will have the following permits available for purchase during business hours of Sunday 7am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday 7am - 7pm, Friday - Saturday 7am - 9pm. If you have questions regarding the Marina their phone number is 806-263-4244.

Public Notice of Temporary Free Chlorine Conversion

June 09, 2025

White River Municipal Water District, (PWS) ID 0540015, will temporarily convert the disinfectant used in the distribution system from chloramine to free chlorine. The conversion will begin on 6/9/2025 and continue through 7/9/2025. During this period, you may experience taste and odor changes associated with this type of temporary disinfectant conversion. Public water systems are required to properly disinfect their water and maintain an adequate disinfectant residual in the distribution system. Chloramine, free chlorine combined with ammonia, is widely used as a disinfectant because it persists for long periods while also limiting the formation of disinfection by-product contaminants....
